Decarbonisation
Decarbonisation data measure a number of different gasses emitted by vessels. These measurements are regularly used as part of various different climate initiatives (such as The Poseidon Principles), or as part of regulatory submissions (Such as the Carbon Intensity Index, or CII).
While browsing, you can add this data and service to the requirements list, and then contact us with the summary. The added requirements can be seen at the top of the data basket.

Alongside this, there are also organisations which utilise various different datapoints to create automated sustainability scores, which can be used to assess the sustainability risk of a supply chain, or potential partner.
Benefits
Understanding the sustainability impact of your own operations or any partner, client, or supplier can help highlight what risks could be faced either from regulations or any reputational damage.
As the world is moving towards major sustainability targets (IMO 2050 for example), it’s becoming more important to understand how your business is tracking against these goals, and what potential investments will need to be made.
Drawbacks
Regulations on this can be patchwork, so the immediate impact of these measurements is difficult to quantify.
There are a huge number of different metrics and measurements which can all be impactful. Identifying which of these to prioritise can be challenging.
